Elevate Youth Ministry meets teens where they are in life and gives tools to be lifelong Disciples of Christ.  This comprehensive Youth Ministry program aims to respond to the needs of young people and provide opportunities for them to share their unique gifts with the larger community.  Our goals for youth are: lived Discipleship in the world, wholehearted participation in the life, mission, and work of the Church, and continued personal and spiritual growth.

An Elevate Youth Ministry Team is forming for the 2016/2017 academic year! There are opportunities to work with young children, junior high and senior high teens of our parish. If you are interested in volunteering your time with this important ministry in any capacity, please contact Amber Weaver, Director of Youth Ministry, at 480.874.3730 or aweaver@olphaz.org.

High School Youth Ministry

For information on high school youth ministry, contact Amber Weaver at (480) 874-3730 or aweaver@olphaz.org

The High School ministry challenges teens to listen to the call to become active participants in their faith by spreading the Good News of the Gospel to others, caring for others in spiritual and physical need, and defending the Church’s teachings and mission.  Elevate XL functions to bring peace and love to an ever-changing, modern world by turning to Jesus’ mission to bring a fulfilling change in our lives that sets us free from sin and reconciles us to Himself.

Junior High Youth Ministry

Meets on Tuesdays from 7-8pm beginning on October 6th in Maguire Hall.

The Junior High ministry focuses on elevating the youth to learn more about their Catholic faith with support for parents in their child’s faith formation, to grow their human and spiritual needs in a fun and safe environment, and to begin to practice the Catholic faith by keeping God’s commandments, celebrating the sacraments, developing a prayer life, and by loving God and our neighbors.
